If you’re prepared to DIY, AND do some training.
Once you feel comfortable with the dashboard, menus and plugins, and have a grasp of writing a post, uploading and adding images and media, having a website will start to be fun again! (did it ever??)

You were prescient with adding video to WP back in 06-07. I’ve come late to the party but things are still evolving and many people are still waiting to jump in. Plus there are so many more hosting platforms to use now.
